Writing Poetry

Posted on 28th Mar 2011 by Kerry Posted in PoemsTagged Poems, Poetry, writing

I like poetry
when it hums at me
shows me tantalising
glimpses
and I have to burrow deep
to find each of its roots.

I like poetry
when it hurtles at me
like a speed train,
and all I can do I spread
my arms wide,
let it rush through me.
